This was a dream come true for me. Before the birth of three of my kids there were two moments in my life that I can remember in a blink of an eye. The first is the first time I saw the women who I knew I would be with forever and the second was that night in class when I broke my knee. I cried hard, not because of the pain but because I knew that that one thing I had wanted for so long was not going to happen. So here I am, older, heavier and more determined than before. I will do more to avoid pain than I will do to gain pleasure.

The decision!
After talking to a kung fu student I decided that I am going to quit smoking and start training for a tournament in Bowling Green Kentucky. I came home motivated and ready to do what ever it takes to get ready! 14 years ago I was training for a tournament when I broke my knee and had to quit kung fu. I have always wanted to learn kung fu and when I finally started training I ate it up.
